In batch cooking process, after finishing the cooking cycle of slurry and black liquor were mechanically conveying or "blown" into a dry atmosphere pool.The pool is a large cylindrical container, it can be used as a cooked pulp in the middle of the tank, leading to the pulp (because of its color, known as "brown pulp") with uniform traffic transportation to washing process.
